PM Pediatrics encourages future parents to schedule a prenatal visit with us. Expectant parents can visit our clinic, meet our doctors and staff, and get answers to all their medical questions.
We have several ways to schedule an appointment with our clinic. You can call our office during office hours, request an appointment online, or e-mail our office directly.
A. The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends the following schedule for routine visits
- 3 to 5 days
- 1 month
- 2 months
- 4 months
- 6 months
- 9 months
- 12 months
- 15 months
- 18 months
- 24 months
- 30 months
- 3 years
- 4 years
In addition, there should be annual visits that include a full physical exam, and a developmental exam.
The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) recommends these guidelines:
- Infants to 18 months: No screen time, except chatting with family
- 18 to 24 months: Some screen time with supervision
- Preschoolers: 1 hour a day of educational programming
- Kids to 18 years: Media should not take the place of getting enough sleep and being physically active.
PM Pediatrics encourages parents to help take their child’s mind off the shots by bringing along a toy or book. This can help reduce your child’s fear of shots by making the experience positive.
